All initial assessments and diagnoses are carried out by GMC-registered medical doctors, ensuring high clinical standards and robust diagnostic decision-making.

Once you book your appointment, you’ll receive the name, title, and registration details of your assigned clinician, so you know exactly who you’ll be meeting.

FasTreat clinicians provide compassionate, judgement-free care through a structured, stepwise pathway. Care is built around continuity, with your clinicians working together to monitor your progress over time. For questions or support, you can reach out via secure messaging or book follow-up appointments. You’re never navigating your ADHD care alone.
Q5: How does FasTreat work with my GP?
FasTreat works alongside your GP to support safe, well-coordinated ADHD care.

As a CQC-registered private clinic, all FasTreat assessments are conducted by GMC-registered clinicians and follow UK clinical standards. This means our diagnostic assessments and clinical documentation are recognised as valid medical records and are generally accepted by employers, universities, and other institutions.

Where available, we incorporate information from your existing NHS care, such as a Summary Care Record. This helps our clinicians understand your medical history and ensure your care is appropriate and safe. If you do not have these records, you can still proceed with assessment.

If you wish to involve your GP further, such as through a Shared Care Agreement, this is typically dependent on your GP’s individual policies and discretion. If your GP is open to shared care, FasTreat can help facilitate this process by providing clinical documentation and coordinating communication. Simply let our support team know if you would like assistance with this.

While FasTreat does not replace your GP, we aim to complement NHS care by providing timely, specialist ADHD assessment and treatment, with coordination and continuity of care wherever GP involvement is helpful or preferred.
