Bring your existing diagnosis. FasTreat completes a standard assessment to confirm your current symptoms and treatment history, then can support ongoing care — including helping facilitate a Shared Care handover to your NHS GP later. This is never guaranteed and is always at your GP's discretion.

“Dr Tinu was brilliant. She was warm, funny and instantly put me at ease. I went into the appointment extremely nervous but she made the whole process feel natural and comfortable from the start. She was thorough and asked many questions and genuinely listened, and I never felt judged. She was very patient with me when I stuttered and gave me time to finish — I couldn't have asked for a better experience for such an important appointment. Thank you!”

Yes. Book directly and self-pay — no GP referral needed for FasTreat's private route.
Right to Choose is an NHS-funded route your GP can refer you through to an eligible provider, where clinically appropriate. It applies to initial assessments only and requires a GP referral. Referral routes vary by ICB. FasTreat is a separate, self-funded private service.
This is never guaranteed. Acceptance is entirely at your GP's discretion, typically only after your medication has stabilised (3–6 months of titration).
Every clinician's name, title and registration number is shown before your appointment. Verify doctors on the GMC register, nurses on the NMC register.
Prescribing decisions are made by your clinician based on clinical assessment — a prescription is never guaranteed and depends on safety considerations and professional judgement.
FasTreat is self-pay and not NHS-funded. We can provide receipts for private insurance claims, but reimbursement depends entirely on your policy — check with your insurer first.
Waiting times vary by ICB area, local service and referral route. National data from NHS England's ADHD Management Information shows referral volumes and wait patterns; the independent ADHD Taskforce report found that waits vary significantly by area, with some patients waiting well over a year. Check with your GP or local ICB for current guidance.
FasTreat is not an emergency service. For urgent symptoms, call NHS 111, or 999 in a life-threatening emergency.
