Is it clinically safe to continue the same dose when my prescribing clinician changes?

Yes, just because your clinican changes doesnt mean that your dose should change. Your new clinican is absolutley right to check your dose, your notes and ask you to come to a meeting if they need more information. Controlled drugs, like methylphenidate and lisdexamfetamine in particular are complex and subject to a lot more regulation than most medication, so the clinician has to be sure that its the right medication its safe to prescribe and right for you.
