lots of people self medicate with caffine or energy drinks. Caffine is a stimulant as are most ADHD medications, in combination they can heighten your blood pressure and pulse making you feel "wired". Lots of caffine can also impact the absorption (how quickly the medication gets into your body) and the metabolism (how quickly the medication is processed by your body) so you might be in a situation where your adhd medication isnt absorbed or metabolised properly due to high levels of caffine. im not saying avoid caffine, just be cautious of its use and reduce it right down before bringing it back into your lifestyle.
